Casa Sa Closca is to be found at the edge of the quiet village of Son Carrió. This very tasteful newly built house sleeps up to eight adults comfortably. On entering the house one is immediately impressed by the curved flight of stairs in black marble that highlights the open plan building style of the ground floor. From the living area with a fireplace, leather sofa and 42 inch flat screen television, two huge sliding glass doors lead out onto a covered terrace and a garden with a swimming pool (6 × 3 metre with counter current system) complete with cascade ans safty for children. Outside the house a folding teak table with eight chairs and an indoor dining area by the kitchen offer ample eating space. All kitchen equipment is of the highest-standard. There is an electric cooker with a ceramic work surface, a dishwasher, a microwave oven, an American style fridge with ice machine and water dispenser and an osmosis filter system for drinking water. If wished the eating area and kitchen can be closed off with a very attractive sliding, wooden, door.

From the kitchen you step onto the rear terrace. Adjoining the kitchen

is a laundry room with a washing machine and tumble dryer and it is also possible to access the entrance hall from here. Additionally on the ground floor there is a bathroom held in sunny orange and a bedroom with two single beds and a fitted wardrobe. Going up the previously described staircase you reach the upper floor of the house from where a gallery offers a lovely view onto the living-dining area and kitchen below. The luxury master bedroom with its own dressing room accesses an upper terrace with a view of the pool. The en-suite bathroom decorated this time in natural tones has a bath and massage shower for that extra portion of relaxation while on holiday. The two further bedrooms on this level, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds, share a bathroom in a fresh mint green and also lead onto either the terrace or a balcony. From one of the bedrooms there is an exit to the roof terrace.

The whole house has been decorated with extreme care and good taste. Only the highest quality furnishings and materials have been used. Each room has an internet connection and air conditioning that provides both warm and cool air making the house also ideal for holidays in the spring and autumn.

Son Carrió is only five kilometres from the coast and is a typical, generations old Majorcan village. It has a small supermarket, an excellent baker, a restaurant and a number of bars. The village is dominated by the imposing sandstone church that recently celebrated its centennial. Legend has it that the large stained glass window was designed by Antoni Gaudi. It is certainly true that he spent some time in the village. The surrounding areas have something for everyone; there are the coastal resorts of Cala Millor and Sa Coma as well as the harbour town of Porto Cristo that also boasts the Cuevas del Drach (dragon caves). Also a few minutes away by car is the attractive village of Sant Llorenc des Cardassar. There are weekly markets to be enjoyed, including a very small one on Fridays in Son Carrió and most places have excellent shopping facilities and a variety of restaurants. For golfers there are none less than five courses in the near vicinity, some of which also offer wonderful views of the Mediterranean during the game. These are: Canyamel, Alcanada, Golf Capdepera, Pula Golf and the nine hole course at Son Servera,
